Easily the most interesting and original tune is ‘Jeden Tag Neue Angst’, an ambitious 20 minute original, which has stood the test of time far better than the other songs, which are ordinary by comparison. Presumably occupying a whole side of the original LP, it is perhaps over-long by three or four minutes, yet has a trance-like, dreamy and hypnotic quality, with slow, subtly shifting patterns that are reminiscent of an Indian raga. Psychedelic music for people who don’t need drugs?

Covers of the theme tune to Hawaii Five-0 and Link Wray´s Jack The Ripper show off the (mostly) instrumentalists in all their distorted, near-psychobilly madness and magic. The results sound as if James Last had picked up a Telecaster instead of sat a Hammond organ. Best of the bunch is a crackingly alive shot at The Peter Gunn Theme: the melody played on feetbacking, sweltering guitar á la Joey Santiago of Pixies.

Interessanter ist dagegen der fast zwanzigminütige Song "Jeden Tag neue Angst", der die komplette zweite Seite der Debüt-LP einnahm, und mit seinen düster-drängenden Gitarrenarrangements stellenweise an die FEELIES ohne Gesang erinnert.
